  Eternal Father,
I thank You for the gift of Carmel,
I ask You to continue to call forth men and women
of fearless hearts to the order of Carmel.
May they be like the prophet Elijah,
full of zealous love for You.
May Mary, our Lady of Mount Carmel,
be their model, that they might say yes
to your invitation to serve You and Your church.
Inspire them to follow in the footsteps of Jesus,
prayerfully working to build your kingdom
of justice, peace, and love.

Gracious God, grant them the wisdom and courage
to discern and to respond generously to Your call.
pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:36-39)
